Herarx on iPhone, Windows and Android: What Each App Is For
Three apps, one account. They are not the same app on three screens — each is shaped for where you are when you open it.
Herarx runs in the browser, and for most desk work the browser is where it belongs. The apps exist for the moments when the browser is the wrong tool: on site, on the train, at the desk with the sidebar closed and the tray icon waiting.
iPhone and iPad
The App Store app signs in with your usual account and your usual second factor, then unlocks with Face ID. Push notifications arrive when something changes on a case you follow. The phone view of cases — the card list with the fields your template author chose — is built for capturing on site: a photo into the case, a status change, a dated observation, a logged call.
Premium and Max can be bought in the app through the App Store at the storefront's own price for your country; Restore purchases re-syncs a subscription bought on another device. Plans bought in the browser work in the app and vice versa.
Windows
The Windows app is a desktop shell: Herarx in its own window, present in the system tray, with deep links so a Herarx link opens the case directly in the app. Download it from herarx.com/download or from the Microsoft Store. It is the app for people who keep Herarx open all day and do not want it lost among forty browser tabs.
Android
On Android, Herarx runs as a phone web view with the same phone-optimised case cards. Subscriptions on Android are bought through Google Play Billing inside the app. Add the calendar over CalDAV from Settings → Calendar devices and case dates appear in your phone's calendar.
The same rules on every device
- Same account, same roles, same second factor. There is no weaker sign-in on mobile.
- Sessions from the native apps keep a longer idle window; revoke a device from Settings → Security → Sessions if it goes missing.
- Advanced-Security cases are invisible on the phone to anyone who is not a member, exactly as on the desktop.
- Files upload encrypted from the phone as they do from the browser.
Which to use when
Field: the phone. Desk: the browser or the Windows app. Both: the calendar, which is the same on all of them. If you find yourself doing template design on a phone, put it down and wait for a desk — the phone view will not let you, and that is deliberate.
